Free with ads
Several services carry films free with adverts: YouTube's free movies, Plex, Tubi and Pluto TV in many countries, and free tiers on JioHotstar and MX Player in India. Watch now marks the free options for your country.
Library and public services
Some libraries give members free access to film services such as Kanopy or Hoopla, a quiet way to watch classics and festival films.
Trials and bundles
Subscription services run trial periods, and mobile networks often bundle them with data plans. The classics in Classics before 2000 are frequently cheap to rent.
Safe and simple
Free legal services keep your device safe and pay the people who made the film.
